About Coaches

Welcome to Hawkesbury & District Basketball Association’s (HDBA) Coaching corner!

HDBA is committed to developing both our Domestic and Representative coaches by offering the highest quality courses and up-to-date information.

All managers and coaches aged 18 years and over for Junior teams and Under 19 teams must have a current Working With Children Check.

The certificate or clearance number must be emailed to the HDBA office along with your date of birth every season – please email info@hawkesburybasketball.com. If you are waiting on your clearance, please supply your application number until your certificate arrives.

We suggest you keep this information in your phone. You can also upload any relevant documents to your BasketballConnect profile.

Everyone needs a coach! We encourage you to put your hand up and volunteer whether it is for your own child’s team, or you just love the game and would like to share your skills with others. If you are interested in coaching a domestic team, please email info@hawkesburybasketball.com.

Expressions of Interest are closed for coaches and assistant coaches for the 2025 Representative Program.

Expressions of Interest for 2026 Representative Program will be opened later in the year. Be sure to check back in.
